I'd like to present a rampant speculation on the whole sp demo issue. I'm going to preface this by saying that the infamous anagram solution is not confirmed (see my sig), and there is not a shred of _concrete_ evidence (maybe cirumstantial) of the sp demo. Remember, _I_ don't necessarily believe this theory, it's just speculation, hence the subject round-hole-square-pegging. I hope this keeps the flaming down. Here it goes.

So, I was thinking, if there is no demo, shouldn’t Bungie be giving a ‘categorical denial soon?

Hell will be a pleasant place for Bungie, compared to the wrath of disappointed Bungie fans.

I definitely would not want to be anywhere near Bungie’s building that day, with rioting well into the night near their c.e.o. clubs, and it would be in their best interests to deny this, if in fact there is no demo.

So, I have a round-peg-square-hole theory that Bungie wanted someone to find the anagram,
because MS ‘convinced’ them to release a demo, even though Bungie has often and consistently stated that there would be no demo.

Having someone find the anagram would be Bungie’s little wink-wink gift to their fans, letting them know something’s going on without really saying so.

Knowledge of this kind might reduce the rampant speculation from the likely leaks from preparing the magazines releasing the demo, and the likely feeling of betrayal of hardcore fans if the demo came out without notice.

As someone said to me, though, ‘for some the truth will only become abundantly clear when they have no choice but to accept it’ (see my new sig ;) ).

You know that you can also move the letters around to make it look like alot of other things too?

Matrix, I am _quite_ aware of that. If you look at my sig, you can see I acknowledge that point. Like I said, wild speculation :). Trying to keep flaming down.

Did you not already make a thread just like this?

well, if i where head of advertisement at Bungie, i would stay clear of www.ilovebees.com and not pay attention to anything that is happening. The hype that is going on is enormonous. Look how many people have signed on to Bungie.net in the past week!

It can only help Bungie to be silent.

Uh, no, I've never presented this theory before. Maybe someone's else's thread? I saw the guardians make a similar statement, though.
