PLease? maybe this has been asked a BILLION times but i meen, theres no search function... so i dont know the answer, im not trying to become one, im just curious to the way it happens.

I know how not become one, and you just performed on of the major acts that will make it impossible for you to ever become a mod.

By the way, just in case you didn't follow what I said above, asking to be a mod is basically telling Bungie that you shouldn't be a mod.

It's really not that complicated. Every once in a long while, Bungee *BUNGIE* picks a couple of members to become moderators.

In particular, members that are trustworthy, dedicated to The Bungie Way, and can spell our company name correctly.

I wouldn't care to be a mod.

Speaking of Nnjas, because of Bungies "New Project" thier will have to be more so spam wars don't happen.

And yes I can spell Bungie.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

I love Bunjie

They rock!

How do you become a mod? Well I will tell you through a poem:

Whenever someone feels low
You better put up a show
You send them away
or give them a parfait
but never flame, no way

You do not ask, you do not beg
You do not hump, the mods leg
Just simply be kind...simply be simple
And maybe you will stand out like a pimple

If the Mods adore you, and shower you with praise
Then you might with them be raised.

So there you have it, the simple guide to becoming a mod.

Bravo! *tries to stop crying*

I think the question has now been answered. Basicly, be nice, play by the rules, get trusted, don't ask. (But really if you wanted to become a mod, you could buy them a few new uber- servers) ;)

That's what happens when you check your post for spelling errors before you submit it, and accidentally click "fix all errors", folks.

I guess that's how you explain misspelling your name, too. ;)

To Make Posts is Glorious

Some threads will get posts before others and it is the duty of the Leadership to ensure that posts are made that best suit the public welfare.

From what I hear, being a mod is overrated (Although most secretly desire to be one.) and frustrating.

My guess is that being a Moderator feels a lot like being an undercover agent in a prison with no toilets.

But the mods aren't undercover. In fact, they are very noticeable. Unfortunately for them it means that anyone can find them.

Not only that, but then everyone can send them PM's and junk about how they don't like what's going on. Not to mention they can spam their Email (if they decide to provide it), and all that other unpleasant junk.

I have a theory that it was some sort of foreign exchange thing gone completely awry.

If my theory is true, Doug Zartman is stranded in Scotland looking for pizza. But at least the whiskey is good.

Ah, now I see. Good Theory. I wonder if Frankie has seen this? :)
