i should have felt like a futuristic navy seal, not like another marine doing typical halo missions.

Posting on bungie.net should require that the user has had to have read a chapter book all the way through.

Some suggestions would really add to your point.

Shotgun Set Die!!!!

I agree. ODST soldiers still feel too much like spartans. They still jump 10 feet into the air. The only real diffrence is that Hunters take a bit more tact to take down.

Keepin' my ammo dry and my eyes on the target.

Uh..............Random but ok...............

I'm 23, I have a house, dog, girlfriend, job and I have no interest in any fanboyism so if you're thinking about sending me a childish PM, don't be surprised when I don't call back.

Yup, and with the Stamina system you're basically a short Spartan.

I`ll take you with me!

It did it for me, it`s all about living yourself into the role.

Like in Fallout 3, if you really live yourself into the role and scavenge for food and ammo, find shelters at night etc the game becomes much better.

This

I felt like I could seriously imagine myself in a drop pod going down to Earth in that first cutscene. I just loved how that was done and how we were able to look around and see everything around us.

That bit annoyed me actually, I was waiting for so long to witness that part and when the moment arrived, I was disappointed.
