On the level Silent Cartographer, after you shut down the security system, you leave the structure to find Pelican Bravo 22 crashed on the ground below the cliff...or is it? I got bored one day and decided to look at the pelican designation (just under and in front of either of the rear wings) and it read V933, which would be Victor 933. Yes, the captain's dropship in the level 343 Guilty Spark. However, if you examine the crashed Pelican I just mentioned, it also reads V933. But, if Victor 933 crashed on the island, how did it survive to fly, then crash again? And what of Bravo 22?

Knowing Bungie, they'll probably allow the fans to speculate for awhile before revealing the secret.

all the crashed Pelicans have V-933 on them and all flying pelicans have E-419. Bungie must have not wanted to waste time giving each Pelican its own Registation Number.

Spartian06: u r right. To make different dropships with their own designation they'd probablly have to make a new model dropship. To save up a little space they just used V933 and E419.

You don't need a new model for a new dropship designation, you just change the paintjob.

Thanks for the compliment. I made it myself. ^_^

They were not lazy. They ran out of time.

Opinions are like arseholes - everybody has one.

Knowledge is knowing Tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.

There is no such thing as a bad decision, only good decisions based on flawed information.

Yes, the crashed pelican on AOTCR is also registered V933 just like both pelicans that drop you on the beach on Silent Cartographer are registered E419. I bet if you managed to get onto the floor of AOTCR whilst the dropship is still flying it would be labeled E419.

I like my Covenant like i like my woman, screamin and with a sticky on there face.

maybe the v933 is the model type or something and e-419 is the only flying dropship you see

File Share - Check out my latest map Paradigm.

It's not some secret. Bungie was just lazy. I notice a lot of dropships have E419 on them. Look at both the dropships that start out Silent Cartographer.
