Weve got be honest that halo's biggest strength is in the immersive singleplayer story in the last halo multiplayer seemed like just an extra feature they added but ut 2004 is made for multiplayer lots more levels, character models, and lots more weapons halo 1 lacked in weapons which was a big drawback. i want to know which multiplayer you think will be better Ut 2004 or halo 2

I think Unreal Tournament is great for multiplayer, but probably lacks the depth that Halo 2 is going to have. Now, I've never played UT2004 or Halo 2 (obviously), but I think it's safe to say that the vehicles, duel wielding, and interactive/destructible environments are what will make Halo 2 stand out. Besides, Unreal doesn't take any real strategy, you just run around and kill.

I may be entirely wrong, because I've never played UT2004. This is based on Unreal Championship for the XBox.

WHAT!? No strategy? UT seems pretty shallow if you only play it for a little while, but once you really get into it, it is a VERY deep game, and if you don't think, you're gonna get owned. I will forgive you since you only played unreal championship (complete disapointment IMO) but don't let it happen again...

i don't know what you're talking about. halo 1 multiplayer was awesome. my friends and i played on xbconnect like daily. ut2004 has way too many vehicles. all everyone does is spam vehicle fire.

ive played the demo from Unreal Tournament 2004 and IMO the Fisrt halo Multiplayer is much better. UT 2004 is run and gun. Since halo 2 will have an improved Multiplayer, it should blow away UT2004.
Keep in mind, its my opinions....any1 else wanna contribute?

It only has 6 vehicles, and the leviathin isn't even in most of them. I thought that the vehicles brought a lot to the unreal tournament series. I didn't say halos multiplayer wasn't awesome (i even like it better than UT2k4) I play on xboxconnect ALL the time (Tag: PureMadness) but you have to give unreal tournament some credit, it is an awesome game. Great weapons (except the bio-rifle) great level design, and so many other things that make it extremely addictive. What do you mean "Spam" vehicle fire?

UT2004 definately won't be better than halo 2

i only played the demo, so maybe my experience differs from what the game has become. when i played it, everyone was farily new, so they all rushed for the vehicles and just drove around shooting. i really like the ut series, specially assault gametype, but halo multiplayer just feel more real, heh.

I prefer slower multiplayer games too, but UT2004 was still awesome. Splinter Cell: PT was awesome too (completely off topic)
