I grew up playing Halo CE and have never stopped loving it since. I have one of the biggest Halo collections you will ever see with the crown jewels being life size statues of Master Chief, Kat, and Emile. Im hoping to have the entire Noble Team soon as well as other Halo statues

Im not going to lie, I'm choking back tears after watching this video thinking about when I first got my Halo 2, standing in line at GameStop for the midnight launch and playing for 26 straight hours. All the great times playing with friends, as well as the frustrating ones with cheaters. Bungie, a legend dies on April 15th. I can't thank you enough for one of the best games of all time and for some of the best years of my life. Thank You. Halo 2.....you will be missed, terribly. T_T

Hey.

I got some good laughs, like "I remember doing that with all my friends!" But I was far from crying.

Why does everyone hate Halo 2? Maybe its because its the worst game ever next to mario.

Wow, that video was pretty intense.

Spartans never die? Tell that to the covenant.

as we start to rebuild, this Xbox will remain barren, a memorial to memories NOT to be forgotten. they ennoble all of us...and they shall not be forgotten. I thank them for ending halo 2's life with a bang rather than a slow painful death where all you can hear in the maps are the birds chirping. We must let go...were it so easy.

now, with the original XBox Live service being shut down on the 15th, will this include the Halo 2 for Windows Vista? Halo 2 Vista came out a few years after Halo 2 for Xbox so whats the deal with that?

You gotta look at it this way too, when Halo 2 came out, alot of us were in high school or middle school so we really didn't have to do anything so all we did was play Halo 2 and just have fun. Atleast, that is what I did. I was a sophomore in high school when Halo 2 came out

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

I remember all those LAN parties (I didn't have XBL back then), endless nights with pizza, coke and sweets just screwing around on maps like Coagulation and Headlong.

I bid thee a fond farewell, Halo 2.

As do I. I lived in a different house when Halo 2 came out, it was in a circle. Id open up my garage on the weekends and all the neighborhood kids would come up and we would play Halo 2 all weekend. I remember one time, it was like 10 degrees outside and everyone still showed up and we played all night. LOL it was very interesting having to play bundled up in blankets and playing with gloves on but my god, those were the days!

Wow, that really sounds amazing! I'd have loved to do something like that.

The amount of times me and my friends have gone through the campaign as well, we could recite almost every line from the cutscenes. I think that Halo 2 has given me my fondest memories in the franchise.

I will never love any game like i loved this one. I was sponsered for this game so knowing that it is in its final week is a sad day. Halo 2 will always be my favorite game i spent more hours on that game then any other game i have ever played. I always dreamed when i had a child i could show them my child hood but now that wont be possible. I love this vid made me feel good and it made me sad.
halo 2 rip ill see u on the 14th

  • 04.08.2010 5:56 PM PDT

I never really played much online in Halo 2 but Split Screen was a big thing for me, even though I only played local I find it pretty depressing that this game will finally be put to rest. I think that it shouldn't be taken off but its for the better and sometimes we gotta let go what we love the most
RIP Halo 2 your glitches, maps, memories, and existence will not be in shame...

  • 04.08.2010 6:08 PM PDT

I never really got the chance to play halo 2 online but was always having fun with friends on split screen after halo 3 i kinda forgot of halo 2 all together. But seeing this video brought back a bit of memories. I felt some what of the guys pain honestly i cried too. But for those halo 2 fans out there its allot worse, and I'll probably would of cried when i heard that Microsoft was going to end the xbox original games.

P.S: I always remember watching red vs blue on halo 2, and again the video brought back tons of memories with that. Having my friends over laughing at the best made from the best.
(And yes I know I have horrible grammar. Just ignore it.)
