Subject: End of an Era

I'm 23, I have a house, dog, girlfriend, job and I have no interest in any fanboyism so if you're thinking about sending me a childish PM, don't be surprised when I don't call back.

OK I said I wasn't gonna cry, but it's just too hard seeing the old girl go into the light.......

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

Not to make it worse or anything, but the Spectre! Never again will we be able to parade around maps with 3 other teammates who are complete strangers. I made several friends from Halo 2, in a week that won't be possible. :(

Dam, I miss the old days playing halo 2 with my old brothers in arms. Thank you my old friends for giving me this account, I shall continue our legacy.

The era might end next week, but it will still live on in the hearts and minds of those who played it. Halo 2 will still live on in some form or another.

I wish they would allow signatures at the end of someones post... Would be fun.

Ha! Fancy me stumbling up on a thread that talks about my own video!

Thanks everyone for watching and giving it such good a good reputation. I really appreciate it!

I spent MONTHS on this video. And I really tried to establish that "no way back" feeling as best as I could.

I really loved Halo 2. It was the best of the video game industry (in my opinion). Thank you all for making it such an amazing multiplayer game. And I hope to see you all in the ending days of Halo 2.

I love Halo and video games. I started a business called "70MGame", I setup LAN events, tournaments, and Midnight Launch Events. Check us out in the link below.

I grew up playing Halo CE and have never stopped loving it since. I have one of the biggest Halo collections you will ever see with the crown jewels being life size statues of Master Chief, Kat, and Emile. Im hoping to have the entire Noble Team soon as well as other Halo statues

Coag is one, if not THE best map in any of the Halo games. I have so many memories on that map, a good number of memories from Red vs Blue as well

That video was great. I'm enjoying all of your posts. I love you all. I don't know you, but we did play Halo2 alongside each other in spirit, so I love you. We are all here to give one last hurrah to a game very special to us, that provided us with unforgettable, cherished memories (aside from being verbally abused by racist 12 year olds). Thank you, Halo2.

See you guys on the 14th!

Spartans never die? Tell that to the covenant.

even now, as I prepare my jetpack and DMR for combat...I remember Halo 2 when I first played it...a small poem for a giant...

Alas halo 2 is dead. this will probably be it's last thread. I knew this day would come and I faced it with dread. Now that halo 2 has said goodbye, I remember it's gunfire and explosions as my lullabies. so now I cannot help but cry. though the time calls for me to move on. I will not forget what halo 2 has done. It has given me so much glee. It has become a part of me. so now as I am transferred to reach, I will not forget what halo 2 has done for you...and for me. --END TRANSMISSION--

feet first into hell

ODST's motto

So many damn memories... they seem so distant. Thinking to back then, when I first saw halo 2, it became mythical. I get a distinct feeling of wonder and mystery when I recall halo back then. It's sad to see it pass away. But fear not, it is in a better place now.

Silence fill this empty thread now that you are gone...but my mind is not at rest for Halo 2 lives ON. Now I will post and YOU will quote.
