I don't mean to be Harsh But this is reality. Halo 3 will not beat Killzone 2 for a 2 reasons. Here they are.
The Graphix will surpass Halo 3, becuase Microsoft is going to ship XboxNext first. Before Nintendo Revolution, and before PS3.
The DVD's have a capacity of about 5 Gigs, Tis isn't enough for the furture so knew kind of Dvd's are being used and tested, Currently Sony Is backing Blue-Ray DVD's, Microsoft being a rival would stear away from that format and choose anoher new tech known as HD-DVD. Whats this have to do with anything?
Well here are some specs for each kinda format.
HD-DVD
Can hold 15 Gb.
A dual layer Hd-Dvd can hold 30 Gb.
VC-9 Codec
Is .6 mm thick.
Blue Ray DVD
Can hold 23.3, 25 or 27 Gb.
Dual layer can hold 46.6, 50, or 54 Gb.
Mpeg-2 Codec. Currently testing H.264/AVC FRExt codec
Can Download Data Straight On to Disc
1 mm thick
Complex to read.
Microsofts format will hold mo data and read quicker than currant Dvd's, But will not have as much data as Sony's. And more data means more Charecters, vehicles, textures, levels, dialog, soundfx, music, diverse buildins, vegitation, animations, face expretions, physics, stats and basically...fun.
Downloadable content onto disc also means more room on Hard drive for Music and Movies!!!!
First off, YOU sir, are an idiot. Second, Xenon, doesn't launch first, at least not officially anyway. It was rumored, but that rumor was shot down at the Microsoft Meltdown convention by officialy Microsoft Representatives. Third, MORE DOESN'T MEAN -blam!- IF WHAT'S THERE SUCKS!. Fourth, who cares if the discs hold more anyways. Games now don't even begin to use the maximum space allotted in a disc, hell halo2 is five times larger than halo 1 which was huge, and it still fits on one disc. So if games now don't take more than one disc, and disc space will grow EVEN MORE, i doubt that even next-gen games will fill discs. Also, blue-ray technology is rather new, so there could be MAJOR problems with the format until it is perfected, which could mean set-backs for the PS3. And HD-DVDs read faster, which would mean, cleaner, more smoothly streaming content and visuals. Again, none of this even matters, if the team making the game isn't good enough to make the game better, as i'm sure you will see even with killzone one. I'm still pissed about your retardation, so if I forgot anything, you will be sure to here from me again.
