Hello, I'm in a bit of a predictment.
So, antisipating that something special would be happening on April 14th, the last time I went home to visit my Xbox, I tried playing a few games of Halo 2 to make sure that everything was set for the final day of Halo 2.
However, I was unable to log in at all. I put the Halo 2 disc into my 360, load it up, and I choose my profile from the list of other profiles, but then a little window comes for me to input my Controller combination to unlock my account for use.
Needless to say, at least one of the four buttons you need to press involves one of the two bumpers. However, when I got to that part of the combination, it wouldn't register at all, so I'm unable to play Halo 2 with this account.
Is this a common occurance? Is it because the original Xbox controller didn't have bumpers? Will changing the combination that involves only shared buttons between the two generations fix the problem? Am I royally screwed?
Thanks for any help you may provide, though I am not in a position to attempt to troubleshoot the problem on site.
