The Spartan 1 Project

i liked it. i dont see why it was aa bad game given only like 30 people worked on it for 1 year. with a tiny budget.

though Microsoft should have marketed it as an expansion not a full game... that's why people complain... Bungie explained it wasn't a full game but Microsoft was stupid and Marketed it as a full game... IE crazy commercials, 60 dollar price line....

NEVER LISTEN TO MICROSOFT! ONLY BUNGIE! at least when it comes to halo

I found it an enjoyable game which maintained a different feel to its predecessors. The campaign was fantastic, the characters were all pretty good and the voice acting was superb. Firefight is addictive, and there was really nothing wrong with the game... those expecting a new engine or online multiplayer were naive and should've researched the game a bit more.

BOOM Headshot!

I was extremelly mad how they just cloned halo 3 multiplayer into the game. It took Infinity Ward the near time to make MOD2.

It was ok but it pissed me off that they took away my BR

  • 04.16.2010 1:12 PM PDT

Ooh, I love those people, the ones who decide to throw everything and the kitchen sink at you, as if an M16 does anything to a T-90. Oh, MLG player with noobtube instead? Congrats! You blew off one of my ablative plates!

Gun, meet Bad Guy.
Bad Guy, this is Gun.

really cause that is the most played mission of mine. trust me bringing elites back from the dead and crashing a phantom really can make odst more enjoyable

Depends on your pre-conception of the title. If you expected an Expansion, you were delivered an Expansion. However, most people expected a Triple-A Blockbuster.

Personally, I loved the game. It stands out among the series. Offering different gameplay experiences. Most notably its Open-World Environment.

This is because Bungie considered it rational to make the ODSTs stand out among the Marines, or Spartans. Instead of equipping them with BR55HB SR Battle Rifles like in Halo 3, they gave them specially-designed weapons: M6C/SOCOM Semi-Automatic Pistol and the M7S Caseless Submachine Gun.

um no they had a short staff working on ODST. infinity ward had the complete staff working on MW2. bungie had the rest of the staff working on reach. and if you say it shouldnt take them this long to make reach then your wrong again. it hasnt been 6 months since MW2 same out plus Bungie is remodeling most of the game theyve had out since like 2001 which theyve only been updating for 6 years to keep up with the modern age

Agreed I also loved ODST best 120 bucks I have spent, The game is challenging and being an ODST is a much more fun and different experience than being a spartan.

You better get it together, Marine or the Chief'll reach down and pull you inside out by your -blameable-. And that'll be a sweet, sweet mercy. . . compared to what I'm gonna do to you.

-Sergeant Avery Johnson

If you compare this game to most of the other games you paid 60 bucks for then you get a good deal even if you exclude the multiplayer disc (not much value in that thing). Compare ODST to something like Assasings Creed 2 and you will see that you probally spent more hours playing ODST. ODST was just low on content compared to other Halo games, but Halo games usually have more content that most other games combined.
