Subject: Bring Back The Threaded View?

The War will wage forever; though with it's fury comes a peace that you will never know here.

Oh yes. I think that the old Threaded view SHOULD be back. I can only repeat your thoughts, Rip Saw.

However, that would require the Bnet team to do MORE work. But they keep us in mind, dont they!?

Of course they do. If enough of us bring it up, it is highly probable that a change will be made, but most likely AFTER Halo 2 has been completed.

A change won't be made. For the reasons highlighted by Tom.

Sorry Rip, I wouldn't want threaded now. I use one of the smallest text sizes for bungie and it's still hard to look through all the garbage. I hope the Chapter's stay the same because we all know each other at The Arbiters.

Threaded or no thread BUNGIE FORUMS ARE THE BEST!
The lads got a point you know. Anyhoo, the threaded view was great, and still is. But with the recent boost in members here it would be insane....................................................... ............................................................. ............................................................. ............................................................. ...................Before the forums were run by like 50 people, now there's thousands. The bigger the better I suppose.

yeah it would be complete chaos. can you imagine newmombasa? or the flood? all those idiots wouldn't be able to bump their posts up! instead of old b.net where it was like 1 new page a day it would be 5 pages every hour. oy!

bigger the better eh? weve got enough spam here to feed all our troops in iraq and have enough left over to satisfy the entire third world.

i think that flat veiw would actually be best suited to a calm sane environment like the arbiters. my main problem with flat veiw is that its hard for a 56ker like me to sift through the crap, so a spam-free environment would work well.

Man, i really wish i knew php with flash. =[ Then i would be able to make the best forums, with sliding threads, without the html. And i'd also make a chat ofcourse. But owell, you win some, you lose some more.

And to the topic, i think threaded views should stay out of it. I was just annoying to having to keep clicking on every thread and have to wait about 2 minutes for you topic to actually show up.

Now you guys need cable or Broadband, lol. It's so much faster than dial-up. You're going to need it anyways to play Halo 2 on Live.

I've got a 256kbs modem that is above minimum for xbox live.

But i'm talking about that message after you've posted something saying:

Please wait while you message is being created

Or something like that. Those were annoying. Every time i post, i've nearly always got to edit something out, and having to keep refreshing the page, really gets annoying, since it usually takes even longer.
