OMG, it sound so funny, when i played halo 2 i never had a mic but now playing it with my friends for the last few days, i love the voice masking, its soo funny, we need this option in reach!

it was more of an option for all original xbox live games i think and not just halo 2, so i doubt it will come to the 360 since it was not already included... it would be cool though

he talks about it around the 0.21 sec mark... basicly it just changes your voice, and you can hear it being used in the video when the players are talking to eachother

wish this guy was still around on xbox live... i think he would be a better canidate than major nelson for that kind of job, and more entertaining too lol. you could see those videos on the old OXM discs when Live was just getting started

If my memory serves correctly, it wasn't received too fondly when players discovered when other players were using the feature and plenty of unwanted stereotypes surrounded it. I had a blast flipping the masking switch on temporarily every now and then to impersonate Darth Vader or an iconic character, though that was practically it for me as far as the purpose served.

Please, for love of people that have gone through puberty, don't utilize voice masking!

It makes one hard to understand and sound like some kind of creepy child molester.
