I would put it in for the same reason. Just for the experience of playing the game that started it all. Then just laughing at the weapons and looking at the new ones.

I, for one, am really F-ing sick fo playing the same goddamn levels over, and over again, and I can only have a LAN party once a week. So yeah, screw Halo 1. I'll be sittin' in the side seat of a Warthog, lettin' the AI do all the work for me for once in H2.

i pretty much agree with you silver, i will play halo 1 straight through that morning after picking up my copy of halo 2, then play halo 2 until the sun rises the next morning. then put halo 1 on my coveted shelf of retired (been played too much) games. :)

or don't get gamespy and get XBC. Now I for one will still play Halo, probably not nearly as much as H2 but I mean the old levels sort of grow on ya. I mean taking the time to learn all the nooks and crannies of each level, and just quitting a new version comes out...

But... If they put "some" of the old MP levels in then I probably wont play Halo at all, lol.
Like Chill Out, BG, and Rat Race, all classics in my book.

Halo 2 is not comming out in Aug. people and anyone who thinks that is pretty stupid, no offence(sp.) but bungie would loose money and that would be stupid. besides, why the heck would you get a tattoo of a date on your arm and then turn around and change your mind about the release.

how can u say u will or will not play halo after halo 2 is out? u may find that in playing halo 2 that halo is sooo obsolite to halo 2 or halo 2 may not be that good that u do play halo lots (more than halo 2).

Shut up about the august 24th stuff, we will find out on the 24th people! Oh and incase you havent heard it the other thousands of times it's been said. It wasnt a real tattoo. It was one of those wash off ones.

Oh and no i wont play halo 1, stopped playing it a while back.

I will probably play it once or twice just for a smile and for comparisons sake. Just like "Holy Crap... Thats different," then I will most likely do as others will - and retire the game.

I will play the first Halo sometimes if they don't have the old levels in Halo 2... which I hope they do. And for those of you that are 'sick' of Halo, get xbc... play online and you will meet some dang good players.

Theres no way a sequal to the best game ever will suck. We have our hopes to high and then be a little dissapointed but it will be better than the original in all forms

I hope so too, but the higher the hopes are, the more you are set up to be let down... We have seen greatly anticipated games be pieces of poop before, hope it doesn't happen here. I think some people here might commit suicide...

If by good players you mean "people who know how to play when the game lags like hell". Becuase thats all XBC is, a giant heap of lag.

If it lags, either the host or yourself has a bad connection, either go to a better host, (me for example) or get a better connection yourself.
