Subject: Can't believe how sad i feel over a video game

It feels so unreal that my favorite game ever is going offline. I got xbox live back in 2004 just so i could play Halo 2 online with my friends. Hell Halo was the whole reason i got an xbox, i was a PlayStation guy and would only play Halo CE at my buddies house who had the game, and the day H2 was announced is the day i said "alright i gotta get an xbox". So i got some money and bought a used one cause i was 13 and that's all i could afford at the time, and i gotta say it was a better investment than when i bought a new 360. When Halo 2 came out i was still a kid and it was pretty much a second life to me. Me and all my friends were so young and we could game all the time, now so many of us have full time jobs, are in college, and one of us is in the military, so gaming is just not the same as it used to be. What made Halo 2 so special to me was the community it had. I think Halo 3 has proven that custom games will never be as popular as they were in H2, I mean the Customs were so popular Bungie made fan made games such as Zombies into real games. I will never forget the countless hours of playing : Zombies, Cat N Mouse, Tower of Power and all those amazing games. I will never forget going into a game of "Glitchs" and doing superbounces/superjumps for hours. It still amazes me that when i look at my friend list on my 360 i still got guys who have been on my friend list for over 5 years and yet they live all over the country and i will most likely never meet them in person. I live in Minnesota and I met a good friend who lives in Illinois through the game and still talk to him to this day. I would like to have a shout out to the countless number of Halo 2 players who have made my gaming experience unforgettable. I would like to thank all my buddies who have gamed with me throughout the years and still do. And last but not least i would like to thank Bungie for giving me perhaps the best gaming experience i will ever have and giving me without a doubt the best online community of any game ever. Tomorrow i will certainly be partying like it's 2004 all day. Thanks -DISP05ABLE H3R0

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

Cat N Mouse was legit.

Tower of Power. Best gametype ever.

No other gametype can have 16 players going for 10 hours straight.
