my Gamer Tag doesn't show it, but i've been a Halo fan since day one. There has always been an xbox handy, and i've always made sure it was loaded with Halo.
I used to Play Halo2 every night with my friends. On friday nights, out local church hosted a game night where we linked up 3 or 4 xboxes and went to town.
And of course, when halo 3 was on its way, i scrounged together the cash for my very own 360 and copy of Bungie's latest.
When i heard that you where planing a blowout night, i rushed to my game store to buy a copy.
and tonight, as i play all of these wonderful maps again after almost 4 years, it felt like the first time. I had to relearn the timing and weapon loactions. Every corner i turned lead to a familiar yet new-feeling location. My E brake skills are back on par, and i stuck a guy from clear across Ivory Tower... just like the old days.
I i cant think of a better way to remember halo 2 multiplayer than just like this. Just as fun, frustrating, and all around epic as the first time. Its 11:46, and im gonna play my last game now.... and i just wanted to say thank you guys. I got to play against mr Urk and Thug Larz on the Creek, and now im going to throw myself one last time into that beautiful countdown... and pray for one last run in that Ivory tower.
thank you so much. We dont deserve developers like you, or a game as awesome as Halo 2.
