It's a metaphor for the 07s' lack of identity. too old to be newfag, yet too new to be oldfag, we wander b.net in search of a home, forever trying to be something we are not.

One final hump was all that remained. And now that it has been humped what will we do? Where will we go? As a wise man once said "In the end you start to think about the beginning" Onto a bright future with halo reach and bungie. Halo 2 you were a great ride and you will be missed.

Um... I like Halo? I don't really know what to say. I'm a student at the moment, I hope to become a criminal profiler, and I enjoy pretty much everything as long as it's good.

Five years was not nearly enough to learn all your nuances, all your secrets. Five years was not enough to take in all yout beauty. We won't forget.

H2 helped me through a very hard time in my life just after my dad died and it will be sorely missed.
Goodnight forever Halo 2. May you rest in peace!

You, like many many others, are a casual a gamer. I know this because people who understand competitive gaming know that having a "god weapon" is vital to competitive play. Reach's sandbox makes you choose a weapon and stick to it's niche. But when you have a dominant all-purpose weapon, you are free to move around the map. When you can navigate the entire map, you are suddenly given many more options strategically, and being able to find the best option is indeed a skill.

Ne'r Do well.

Greatest gaming memories ever.

Every time a new map pack came out I was never home! But I love you for that. <3 I can write an essay on how much this game effected me but I'll leave it as this.

I really took Halo 2 for granite. While I never played Halo 2 on my own 360, but I can remember the countless amount of hours spent on the classic box of sex with friends-- Gulch Wars, Zombies, LAN, Lock-on rocket launchers, or just driving around on Coagulation with a few friends from the neighborhood. You had infinite replay value, and I think the general game-play formula you had established was infallible.

The most substantial and fun game memories will forever be stored on that disc. I would like to consider Halo 2 to be my personal golden-age of gaming. It's too bad that I can't play on the final night...Oh well...

RIP, Halo 2.

For the first year-and-a-half of my Xbox life, I only had two games: Halo 2, and KoToR. Both of them great games, and I will always cherish them.

I will always go back and play them to remind myself of the late hours of Christmas, being intoxicated with the feel of a truly great and life-altering experience.

Thanks for bringing me to the gaming heights you did. I'm forever in debt to you.

I've hade you for 6 years almost, and I got to admit that I wish I would have gotten to know your multiplayer side a little bit longer! At first I disliked your campaign but its up there next to Halo: CE, if not better. RIP!

Oh yeah and about this saving the planet -blam!-, our great-grandkids can go get their own damn planet.

Halo 2, thank you for just being an all around awesome game. I fired up my final game of you today and everything that I had forgotten I loved so much came back to me. Your familiar halls, the perfect BR, the unlimited sword...

You revolutionized online console gaming, and I along with the world thank you. May you one day have the ability to return to us, if only for a short ammount of time. Until that fateful day, may it come, I bid you adue, at least in the online realm.

I <3 you H2!!!

My old Bungie.net account was created February 6, 2008. Unfortunately, I had signed up using my brother's email account (we then shared an Xbox Live account which was linked to my old Bungie.net account), and he changed the password, meaning I couldn't log in. Thus is why I have this account.

Thank you for providing many great memories. I remember always playing against my brothers and their friends when they would come to my house and stay. It is such a shame that I began playing Halo 2 online so late.

Goodbye Halo 2, you will be missed. You jump started Xbox Live multiplayer and without you, console online gaming would not be what it is today. Thank you for the memories.
