Thank you Halo 2, the sole reason I bought an xbox and bought xbox live some 5 YEARS AGO...I will never forget the memories this game has brought, although I am not a huge fan of Halo 3 or Halo ODST, Halo 2 was THE GAME and IS THE GAME that will forever live on as being the classic in my book..

RIP Halo 2, and original Xbox Live, with some of the greatest experiences of my life..

I played almost 9000 games of Halo 2...That is how -blam!- great it was, I have no played any other game even close to that much...

RIP Halo 2...

You will be missed, but not forgotten!!!

I barely ever played you online. I did yesterday for one of the first times. And even with those few matches you've left me with memories and I'm gonna miss you. RIP.

-Your maps were some ofhte most unique in the Halo series. I wasn't a Halo fan when you were the current Halo, but I still enjoyed matchmaking.

They call me the DEMON.

Thanks so much for all the laughter and joy you have given me. You made my teenage years such a joyful and happy time. Through you I have met heaps of friends and given me a love for gaming. You may be gone but I will never forget the memories we had together.

People say I wasted my time, I say I enjoyed life.

Thanks Halo 2, your a real buddy.

halo 2, you are the reason I joined LIVE, the reason I own an xbox, the reason my life is what it is.

The glass is neither half full nor half empty; it's just twice as large as it needs to be.

-Thank you, Halo 2, for introducing me to the world of online gaming. You're the best.

-Thank you, Halo 2, for being my first Collector's Edition game.

-Thank you, Halo 2, for making me buy a second disk after I actually broke my first CD through playing the game too much.

-Thank you, Halo 2, for the heaps and heaps of amazing memories I have of you. My very last serious game, Big Team Slayer on Waterworks, me and a buddy versus the complete other team, us getting in a Warthog and just ripping through everybody and everything, Banshees, Scorpions, Rocket Launchers, literally everything. I'll never forget that one.

-Thank you, Halo 2, for the great times I always had playing Halo 2, either winning or losing.

Rest in peace old buddy.

Thank you Halo 2. For an amazing campaign. For amazing multiplayer(online and off). These past years were awesome. And I may have moved on to the next installment, but I never forgot the great times we had. You taught me how to hijack vehicles, how to dual-wield, how to use lock-on rockets. It was a blast and even if I can't play online anymore I promise to continue playing the campaign.

To Bungie, thank you for making one of the best games ever. I have come to expect the best from you and believe me you do not disappoint. I know we, the gaming public, will see even more great games from your talented staff and I can't wait to play them. All I ask is that you continue to wow us, continue to mesmerize us, continue to raise the bar and beat the competition out the water.

I propose a toast to Halo 2, to Bungie, and the continuation of amazing games from the best developer studio this side of Eridanus.

"Halo 2 is a lot like Halo 1, only it's Halo 1 on fire, going 130 miles per hour through a hospital zone, being chased by helicopters and ninjas ... And, the ninjas are all on fire, too."

Sarge- Come on, put your groin into it! And stop exhaling on every lift! The goal is to hold your breath as long as possible - under stress the body produces all the oxygen it needs! Groin it out!

Halo Cubed WOOO!

You were the first online game I ever played. You dominated my time through most of high school, and you left an indelible mark on my life. My social habits changed drastically as a result of my obsession with you. I went out less, but that gave me more time to focus on my studies.

Four years later, I am heading off to medical school, and I honestly believe you played a (possibly not so) small role in that. I have only cried a few times in my life, but I get the feeling I will shed a tear when it finally goes dark over Coagulation.

The world is a little darker for your passing.
