Sparkle Sparkle Sparkle!

Halo 2 was the best as well as the most genius Xbox LIVE game ever crafted by man. We will never forget the first Xbox LIVE game made by Bungie. Good-bye Halo 2, and all of the memories we have experienced.

Thank you for being the only game in my Xbox for at least a year. Simply, you were the best Xbox Live Original title out there.

If I had a Rocket Launcher...

Shut up and get behind me... Sir!

The cable. I'm going to cut it.

Awesomeness would ensue.

You know, Microsoft, when I woke up this morning and saw Live was still up and running, I thought of two things.

The first, that Xbox Live had become Skynet. Further investigation proved this to be false, however.

The second, perhaps you had reconsidered.

In fact, I hoped for the latter.
What an epic turnaround that would be, huh? Of course, people would gripe and moan, but it would be all for the best. I'd still be playing the great game that is Halo 2.

But Bungie didn't make that call. Thanks a million for the memories, Halo 2 and the Bungie team.

I once heard an old man say " Years ago, i sold my trumpet for something to eat, and know i know it would be better to die of hunger."

I upload a ton of Halo clips on my YouTube channel, feel free to subscribe.

Halo 2: I just borrowed it from my friend, then I got onto Bungie.net and found out it was shutting down on the 15th of April, I was so disappointed because I wanted to buy the game but the game would be useless without multiplayer (I still thought the Campaign was awesome). So I borrowed the game one last time and played as much as I could on the 14th.
R.I.P. Halo 2 I'm sorry I barely got to play your amazing multiplayer.

I fought the future next to my brothers, unfortunately we lost...and Halo 2 died...

Thank you dear friend, for being there when I needed something to keep me going. For fueling all those late nights. For introducing me to a brother I didnt even know I had, even if he is Canadian. Thank you for giving me so many great memories, and making me laugh and cry. For all the moments I yelled in triumph, and screamed in defeat. You were one of the most important things in my life, and I'll miss you very much. And thank you Bungie, from the bottom of my heart for making it possible in the first place. I'll follow you guys into hell.

Halo 2 you will be missed! <3 RIP!

Halo 2 wasn't the first halo i played, but it was the first one I owned. I never got the chance to fully expierence online multiplayer until I got my 360 in 08, and Halo 3 was taking all the action. It must've been awesome in its prime... the first time I played it, it looked amazing, and once I found dual-wield my view of games changed completly. Halo 2 raised the bar set by Halo CE. Now Bungie is the bar all games aspire to be like.

RIP Halo 2

Too many hours, too many days. Fun days, days I missed. Memories being relived still. The game was amazing and the times were fun. It is sad to see it go, but exciting to see what comes next. Farewell Halo 2!

Halo 2, I know we didn't know each other for very long, but ever since last Saturday, you have been my favorite Xbox LIVE game in my library. I have probably had as much fun in these last five days as I had in all my time playing Halo 3. I'll never forget your hitscan BR or the messed up spawns that gave the other team both tanks on Coagulation right from the start. your lock-on rockets and infinite energy swords always entertained me to the fullest. You truly are the best Xbox game ever. You will be missed.

Requiescat In Pace.

There comes a time in every mans life... and that time is not now.

I only recently became acquainted with the online side of you, but for years before that, you were my favourite game for a long time. Over the past few days, many hours have been spent with friends, new and old, as we celebrated your long life. Many laughs were had, many times we went clutch to victory, and many times i died trying to do superjumps. Having such a strong farewell truly proves you are one of the greatest games of all time.

Farewell Halo 2

After pre-ordering you in limited edition, I couldn't wait to play you.

Local or live, there was no difference.

You could have the same amount of fun playing the campaign, MM, customs or finding glitches alone or with friends.

You were the amazing sequel to my beloved Halo: Combat Evolved.

I teared up as I ejected the disc and put you back in your shiny silver case and onto the shelf for one last time (or until I go to a LAN party).

Bungie, thanks for the wonderful memories and amazing people I've met with the Halo franchise...especially with Halo 2.

:3 I will die. :[

Since the first release of Halo,I have been dying to play H2 since six years ago.The introduction of Pros, trashtalkers and the H2 MM lovers all experienced the fight that gained success, without you the "blessed path" now reveals you to the Best Multiplayer and Game on the Original Xbox Title.

I have been a die-hard Halo 2 fan and played 6 months of H3,now you shall rest in peace of the gaming world for your exotic multiplayer around the world. We'll miss you,and thank the lord for Halo 2 on the PC.

I never want this to end! I have so many memories with and of this game! Games played, time spent with friends, this was an amazing and very memorable social experience for me. I am going to miss this game when it is gone. Thank you for the great memories, Bungie. You guys knocked this one out of the park!

For Those About to Rock... We Solute You

You we're my first online gaming experience Halo 2. I met so many friends and had so many great times with you. Losing you is like losing an already long lost friend. I am going to miss you.

My final game a beautiful way to end the 6 year phenomenon.

I know many people have heard this today. But I want to say thank you to bungie and everyone who participated in these last 4years aswell as the last two days. But for those who had the game, had freetime, and decided to neglect halo 2. I say enjoy your extended friends list because that's all your gonna get, your never going to get those last defining moments of halo 2 multiplayer. I figured maybe if alot of people participated in halo 2 this week it would send a signal to Microsoft to somehow ressurect this legendary game. But no, I was disappointed in all of the people who proved me wrong. So once more thank you to bungie and all who participated.

As for Halo 2 Multiplayer, You will be missed

That is my Testimonial.
