Join The Reach Asset a group I am very proud to be a leader of.

Thank you Halo 2 for introducing me to Halo. It was a good run. :)

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

You were my first xbox game I ever purchased back in '04. You showed me the wonders of the xbox along with the rest of the Halo series. Before, I would only play Halo: PC, and look where you brought me? A compelling story and a very fun game to live through in my elementary and middle school years.

I love you Halo 2.

Rest in Peace. <3

*wipes tears off eyes*

Oh and thanks for making the game Bungie!

Oh Halo Two, Oh Halo Two,
How thine limitless landscapes have given me endless play.
How your brilliant multiplayer has wasted my days away.
From the time I found that soccer ball.
To the time I jumped off water falls.
When I first found how the SMG sprayed so mercilessly.
To the time when I first entered zero gravity.
Oh Halo Two, Oh Halo Two.

When I gander at the breadth of my imminent domain I will weep for there will be no more worlds and kingdoms to conquer.

ashes to ashes. dust to dust. Halo 2, i played my final games that fated day in the same way manner in which i did when i played my first. but i'm older now. i know that everything great at one point in time must have an end. but i miss you so much.

You will never be forgotten.
You will never be replaced.

You no if u actually experienced halo 2 such as i u stop and think bak to the most memorable moments such as clans, glitches, and all those fantastic games the halo community made.im glad to say it was the begining of the original XBL and also the end. It made XBL what it is today, afterall i bet u cant name another game that you can stay up all night and play with some how winding up the next morning with a mic on your head.

Halo 2 was the reason i signed onto xbl. it changed online gaming forever. I used to play this game every night, and on the weekends stay up all night playing with my friends. Its truly sad that halo 2 is gone; so long old friend, u will be remembered.

glory days here I come..

When I was young, I spent countless hours playing through your campaign, exploring areas invisible to the average player, trying to get to impossible to reach places in hope of changing the story and finding glitches. But I never got to play you online on my own profile. The day you were laid to rest by being taken offline was the end of an era. You got me into the battle rifle, you helped me endure the long wait to Halo 3 and most importantly you showed me the Arbiter who, in my opinion is the greatest character in the Halo series.
God bless all Halo Reach players who wear the Halo 2 logo on their name plate, you have shown honor to this classic.
R.I.P Halo 2 you changed the way I looked at the First Person Shooter genre.

  • 11.10.2010 2:45 PM PDT

Although I only played about 30 online games of Halo 2, I did play a bunch more offline customs. Halo 2 introduced me to Halo. R.I.P., Halo 2. I will miss you.

We believe that the universe is unbounded: this is not the same as infinite: the 2-D surface of a sphere, wrapped around a 3rd dimension, has a finite size, but has no end. If you start off in a given direction on the surface of a sphere, you could return to your start point without having to turn around -- you simply go all the way around. But wouldn't that mean the universe has an escape velocity like the earth?

They say it has no memory. Thats where I want to live the rest of my days. A warm place with no memory. Halo 2 gave that to me, I will miss you dearly.

Thank you Halo 2 for setting me up with random kids online that became my offline friends from other states that I would have never met if it wasn't for Xbox live. Thank you halo 2 for coming out only on the Xbox so I had an excuse to buy an original Xbox. Later on it led me to switch from the PlayStation 2 over to the 360. You will be missed and you will go down as one of the most competitive games to have ever made it to the public's eye on television.
R.I.P.
