You were, in my opinion, the best Halo game, and the most fun I've ever had in a Halo game.

Thank you Halo 2. You have given me So many memmories over my many sQeemish years. YoU have also gIven me some of the cloSest of friends. So mucH will be left after its over. It will just be a memorY. From the zombie matches where people would not switch teams, to the ENDLESS hours of bUilding houses on Headlong(was I the only one that did that?), to the time spent glitChing out of EVERY Known map. Halo 2 was one of the best games I have Ever played and it still remains so to this day. So many memmories will be left. Rest in peace Halo 2. <3 Halo 2.

Quoting my post on Page 4. This was my old account. I want it to be said on both accounts.

<3 Halo 2. I'm missing you right now more than ever....

Halo 2, IMO, the BEST Halo game (multiplayer) of the series.

I never truly enjoyed Halo 3, ODST, or Reach nearly as much as I enjoyed Halo 2, and, admittedly, played Halo 3, ODST, and Reach hoping to find the "magic" that never let me put the controller down in Halo 2.

I never re-found that "magic", and for that reason, will always remember the sheer awesome-ness that was Halo 2.

Same here. I remember going to school or just hangin out with friends and when it came time to go home the only thing I could think about was playing Halo. It became a weekend tradition for me and some buddies to play splitscreen on Halo 2. If I'm out doing things going to school or working or whatnot I don't even think of Reach. When I get home I see my xbox and I think eh.... idk.

I used to be pumped to play Halo now it's not even that fun. The franchise hasn't lost it's luster either. The games have just been getting downgraded in every aspect. I would be very excited to play a game if it wasn't as slow as a snail.

Games will come and go.... Consoles will come and go.... Life will come and go.... Their will never be a game in my life that can fill the shoes of the Halo 2 era.

Thank you Halo 2. I feel as if i owe you a tribute to your awesomeness. I started my involved relationship shortly after you were birthed. I didn't quite feel like a pedofil because i was too busy tea-bagging the many noobs you brought me (I promise i wasn't cheating on you). The glitches only made you more unique and interesting. Oh how we learned eachother over the years. I didn't understand you at first but i quickly realized what modding and standybying were. (Even learned how to do it :P)

Thank you for almost ruining my highschool GPA. How many hours can one man spend superbouncing? Probably uncountable. I am sorry i took you for granted when i heard about the release of Halo 3 and how i anticipated your less likable son. I wish i could have seen you at the end of your life but alas i was busy with other things in my life. The memories in and out of the lobbies i will never forget. Has anyone actually found the Goldgen Warthog? Will the mystery of the gate actually ever be solved? Will the arbiter ever leave my memory? (I hope so) Your campaign sucked, a lot, but it didn't matter I was too busy screaming at the other team whenever i could. I am sorry that Halo: Reach (BRING BACK CLANS!) is terrible, along with Halo Wars, oh and Halo: ODST, (those weren't your fault). Everything comes to an end, sadly, even you. RIP Halo 2, I love you forever. BXR lives on in Infamy!

The Dark Side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities, some considered to be unnatural.

Thank you Halo 2 for being the best gaming experience of my life. The campaign, the soundtrack, and the unforgettable multiplayer with the best maps.

You are always missed. Reach is decent, but you were legendary.

R.I.P. Halo 2

Precision is everything. Don't back down.

Just recently picked up a copy of Halo 2. Running through the empty battlefields I once fought and had fun on brought me to tears. The memories of Super Bouncing, ToP, Troy, zombies, and many others, quickly flooded back into my head. All of the maps (Containment, Coagulation, Waterworks, and Relic among others) brought a smile to my face, as I remembered the fun of BTB in Halo 2. Not to mention the fast-paced gameplay. I will truly love Halo 2 for a long time, and I only pray the greedy sons of -blam!-es over at Microsoft find a way to bring you back to life on XBL (not crappy XBC, Jacob). BTW, don't listen to that troll. He knows nothing about you lol. Again, I loved Halo 2, still do, and always will. Rest in peace my friend. You will be dearly missed by thousands, including myself. Hopefully your fields of battle will once again be filled with fun and laughter, and the community can once again be united in an excellent game.

RIP Halo 2
