If you look trough everything in the tips and tricks section at HBO, and it isn't there, there's a fairly decent chance it doesn't exist.

It doesn't exist. It was a hoax, a joke, a lie. They were trying to trick you. Don't believe them.

You're retarded.

A mod chip, depending on how long you want it to last and how good it is to actually hack and be able to turn the game back to normal later is pretty expensive.

Some modchips start at $80, to $500 dollars.

But to make sure your modchip doesn't ware out, make sure to turn it off everytime you turn the XBox off, since some have their own power supply.

Anyway, you need a PC also, because you'll need some programs to help you hack through the game, and you might need some cables too, but those might come with the mod chip.

If you want a xbox already modded, they can be $200 to $800 since they might have bigger harddrives and such.

If you want more info, just search Modded XBox in Google, it should help.

Five Tenets of Bungie.net Forum Life:
1. Trolls will always be well fed.
2. Blame-ability thy name is stosh.
3. Bungie has no control over retail prices.
4. Watch out for low-flying defense drones.
5. Seven is not optional, but rather, an inevitability.

I thinking talking about modding your Xbox is against forum rules.

Rules:

Please DO NOT advertise your chapter here. You can use The Classifieds for that.

No petitions.

Do not link to adult content or to sites that contain information on any type of software piracy.

Impersonating forum moderators and/or bungie employees is strictly prohibited. Do not break this rule. You will be banned. No warning will be issued.

No bad jokes.

Bumping is illegal. Breaking this law has high consequences. Such as but not limited to: assignation by ninja, hippo licking, and/or complete forum thread annihilation. Or we will most likely just lock your topic. Don't bump!

Xbox hacking/modding discussions will not be permitted on any of the bungie.net forums.

Don't Flame each other. Use your manners and common sense. If you disagree with someone, do so gracefully.

Noob, Newbie, N00b, and any other variants on the word newb are hereby banned from use on this forum. Any user who violates this rule will be put to death.

No political discussion of any kind will be tolerated on the forums. These kinds of conversations almost always devolve into insult contests.

There are plenty of more rules I could list, but I mean only a brain damaged monkey would break them. Use common sense and your very best online etiquette. Read the Bungie.net term s of use and c ode of conduct for more specific bungie.net dos and donts.

Suggestions:

Use a spell checker to check your posts for misspellings. There's no point in making a forum topic if we can't understand it because of multiple spelling errors.

Don't use stupid abbreviations. (Example: Your = ur, You = u, Are = r, I = EYE, one = 1)

Wow, I've gotten to say this twice today. Against forum rules to discuss modding.
