I hope I'm considered a fan. Even though I don't meet everyone's criteria of 1,000 + games. I played and still play halo 2 because i realized the pure awesomeness of it.
That's good enough for me (not that you have to justify it to others anyway; if you're a fan, then you know it. That's all that counts). What annoys me is the fact that, when I checked the Halo 2 stats on the final day, I swear the average unique games was just a bit higher than the player count.. In other words, the average number of games played per person would be less than two, which would obviously be the result of people playing one game simply to unlock this reward.

I may be wrong with my stats entirely, so take this with a pinch of salt. I just hate the notion that some people who hadn't played Halo 2 before in their lives, played one single game of it, purely for the sake of 'earning' something that was supposed to be given to those who truly loved the game. This probably all sounds really selfish of me, but it's the way I feel.
