Subject: So Long Halo 2, And Thanks For All The Fish

This is a memorium to Halo 2, the game which has sucked more time from my life than any other game I've ever played. With over 4300 online matches played through 2007, I spent many a night playing Halo 2, with friends, making new friends, and generally kicking ass.

In memory of the soon to fade Halo 2 from Xbox Live, I've come back to Bnet to post my own most memorable Halo 2 experience, and the last game I played. Please feel free to do the same.

My most memorable game of Halo 2 was with Moap. We had a game going for over 2 hours, where we just screwed around and had a great time. Impurity recorded everything, and much of it ended up in various videos he made. I actually went around killing people, me and Aku (I believe) competing for first place (I won). I can't actually find the game, but that is my most memorable.

As for the last game, I haven't had it yet (I hope!). I will update as it happens, and you should do the same, or wait until you've played your game before posting.

So long, Halo 2, and thanks for all the fish.

I intend to live forever, or die trying,

so far, so good.

Bye bye Halo2, we will miss you.

I've been pretty much absent from Halo 2 since the release of Halo 3. I have played a few games of late due to the fact it will no longer supported. I still beleive that Halo 2 has had the best MP maps of any game.

My most memorable moment of Halo 2 was a slayer game on Turf. The enemy was in the Worthog, and I managed to stick 2 plasma grenades on it. Got a triple kill, but the funny thing was the Worthog summersaulted about 10m or even more into the air and came crashing down on my 2 team mates. I betrayed them both. If only Halo 2 had Theatre.

:'( R.I.P. Halo 2 You will be missed.

Somewhere in the heavens... they are waiting

I never had xbl till months after h3 was launched. but we used to have LAN h2 partys every ~1.5 months. night after night we'd play with no regard for time. If i could only find out how many hours we spent playing split screen. It is still one of my favorite games and it leaving will definetly leave a hole in my life. it will be missed more than any game ive ever played. Good bye halo 2 you will be forever missed, beyond what words can express :'(

Just had my last game a few minutes ago. It was a great rumble pit match on desolation. This game is still great, to me and to many others, it has a 360 grade (it deserves to be titled as a 360 game) it brought together a whole nation of gamers, to many, it was a friend, to some, it was a member in the family. Tomorrow, it's gone.

You will be missed, Halo 2.

Happily married to Fatal_Coin_Vest since July 1st, 2009.

Thank you, Captain K Mart.

Over 1700 games of Halo 2 and still counting. To this day, nothing can compare to the memories I had playing Halo 2 with my best friends.

Even though we only had four people, we always played on Coag. We barely even killed each other but it was still so fun. How many games can you say that about?

Be genetically different, homie!

Terminal, Warthog, hit by train, 5 splatters, bomb armed

Also I love you for making a Hitchhiker's reference, so long as it wasn't to the movie.
