If I had a Rocket Launcher...
Shut up and get behind me... Sir!
The cable. I'm going to cut it.
Awesomeness would ensue.
Alas, the fate of all console's online services.
Halo isn't anywhere near my first FPS. That would probably go to this little game called "Marathon". First console FPS was Goldeneye, and then eventually the superior Perfect Dark. So Halo didn't have as much impact on my gaming tastes as it did on most of you.
I'll be honest, however; I didn't own an original Xbox. I owned a Gamecube and a PS2, played Gearbox's port of Halo on PC, and played my cousin's Xbox on the side. Despite the fact that I had played and beaten the two games, the first games I bought after receiving the Xbox 360 a few days prior to launch from the Every Ten Minutes contest were Perfect Dark Zero, and the special box set of Halo 1, Halo 2, and the Multiplayer Map Pack for Halo 2. Being my favorite of the bunch, Halo 1 got the first playthrough, although Halo 2 certainly wasn't neglected.
I have my misgivings about Halo 2, but it's been a damn fun ride. Thank you, Bungie.
