I'm just concerned...

My Xbox 360 has been incapacitated for a while, and I will not get to re-download the xbox live only multiplayer maps (desolation and tombstone).

Is there really no other way to get these two maps? I am afraid I will have to fire up my original xbox every time I want to play on them. Any solutions??? Or am I doomed to miss out on those two maps forever?

Bungie will make a way trust me.

Find the Multiplayer Disk. But im not sure if thats possible.

those weren't on the multiplayer disc, but they're free as it is. Bungie should just host the files on their website as .iso so that you can burn your own disc.

I agree, it should be rather simple to do. I just really like both those maps, and I just don't want a stupid little thing like an e74 error to keep me from playing a game I really like.

Attitudes are contagious, mine might kill you.

If you're looking for my Halo 2 online records my account was "Destri" back then, but for some reason xbox live won't let me link it to my bungie profile :( Well whatever I guess.

I'm trying to have a Halo LAN party later on this month, and I'm trying to figure out how to solve this issue as well since one of the xboxes has all the maps and the other does not.

I really hope someone from Bungie actually reads this at some point. It is very heartbreaking not to be able to play those maps. And I LOVE LAN parties! I was going to do an all-halo party of Halo: CE,2,3,ODST, and Reach, but how will we get the full experience without some way to get those maps...?

Send me a message if this is ever resolved kthxbai

I hope that bungie does something to remedy this; I mean, it's gonna suck as people's HDD and xbricks die and they lose those maps and can never get the back as it stands right now.

Yeah, Hitboxing = fail. For example, a certan user from the maw who has never played Halo 2 Xbox online links to this halo 2 bash video (its much less exreme in acutial gameplay) which shows hitboxing, but it also exists in halo 3, which also has unbalanced weps and n00b armor (recon).

If Microsoft had just allowed us the option of moving original Xbox game files between storage devices we wouldn't be having this problem.

you obviously:
1) didn't read this thread
2) don't know anything about said disc

desolation and tombstone are NOT on the disc. those two maps are completely UNOBTAINABLE

I have the disc right here, those maps aren't on it.

You could always mod your xbox and put the maps on it, it is not like you would get banned or anything.

a modded HDD is an XBL perma ban if they detect it- for the console, not your gamertag.

It happened to a friend of mine.
