RIP Halo 2: November 9, 2004-May 10, 2010
I was the 2nd to last person to get kicked off Halo 2, see the thread Here

Playing Halo 2 today has made me think of my childhood, and how great things were compared to now. Has anyone else felt this way? It's kind of depressing, yet I like remembering playing this with old friends at our "Halo Parties."

It's a sad day in Halo history. :(

Too many memories to go on living, considering that one of the most fun things you ever did then is being killed? Yes. Very depressing.

All of my parties were Halo 2 parties.

It's not the memories of being killed, it's who I was killed with. We lose to many friends when we grow up.

Been playing Halo since 2001. I know my Halo.

Way to many amazing memories.

Halo 2 changed my life, and I actually shed a small tear after my last game.

RIP H2. Never Forget. <3

In like 4th grade I would sleep over my friends house and play halo 2 late into the night. It was just where I wanted to be and who I wanted to be with (no h0mo). We then stopped doing that sort of thing for a while. I got an xbox 2 years ago and Halo 3 1 year ago. I never got Halo 2. I borrowed it from my friend a few days ago just to be reunited and it literally got me pretty bummed because of just how great I was and I didnt get to experience match making in its full glory. When I played Halo 2 I was just happy because of the memories. The way the guy says slayer in the beginning is probably the greatest thing ever. I dont even know how that is. I JUST WISH I HAD MORE TIME! OH THE HUMANITY!

Ya so many memories of the game, but the plus side is that everyone that is playing tonight is a true fan of Halo 2. I haven't run into one game yet where someone was talking trash, everyone is giving GG's at the end and sharing stories. Gonna miss you Halo 2 on Xbox LIVE.

I just finished my last game, Ever. I figure it was a good time to stop since I had most kills and my team won in a game of slayer. RIP Halo 2.

The Flood's resident metalhead.

You got that right... most of my favorite gaming memories were of Halo 2... snipers on relic, ts lockout... tons of lan parties with all of my old friends... I'll play some more Halo 2 and then say good bye... even though I haven't played the game in over 2 years I still miss it. :( Good bye Halo 2... it was fun while it lasted, the good ole days will never be forgotten...

I'm really, really sad about tonight. It's really depressing and making me think about how much I miss the old days. Even though I would've most likely never played this again, it makes me really sad knowing that it's leaving.
