How to spell "space"?

S-P-ACE! SPACE!

Halo 2

We had met before. A couple times, nothing more. Yet I find it hard to let go of this as if it was something I can just pass along.

Where did I meet her? Oh, a trip to Texas where I got he chance to play with a needler at age 9, a pancake breakfast where my brother and I fought over the driver's seat of the Scorpion to the death, and a short affair in the summer of 09.

Yet I mourn the lost ability to duel-wield needlers, the awesome fight with the scarab, the sheer Halo sense that Halo 2 was that Halo 3 has never quite matched for me.

Why, exactly, why is this game a more Halo game than its successor? Why must I mourn its passing?

I have the answer.

So do you.

"If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the Universe."

Because H2 is H2, obviously.
