The subject pretty much sums it up. I'm away from home right now so I can't play H2 on it's final day, so this is my way of sending it off. And to all of you mood killers, I'm sure someone has done this before, and I'm sure search bar would have shown me this... Unfortunately this is already on the forum, so make the best of it.

My best memory is my first game ever played, Big Team on Burial Mounds. I did well and got two friends immediately, something which Halo has that no other game can match. I've made more friends through Halo than all other games combined, and the community and atmosphere of Halo 2 is something that no other game can match

HACK THE PLANET!

THE SPARTANS

A clan we made. It grew to three more sister clans. One overlord and two staff per clan.

Chain of command
Primary Clan Overlord (1)
Primary Clan Staff (2)
Sister Overlord (3)
Sister Staff (4)

I was one of the Primary Clan Staff. We ended with roughly 380 members.

We were an anti-crusaders

Blood Gulch. Anything BTB on Blood Gulch

My first game was actually on Blood Gulch. I went straight to the rocks with the sniper (like I'd always do in local games). I can even remember the first tag I read in a game. An enemy was on top of his base. As I scoped in I could make out the blue text of his name, PS2Rules... BOOM Headshot.

All it took was a stew of whoopass.

Getting the Assassin Skull and almost getting the I Wish Was Your daddy Skull(?). Also, splattering a guy by jumping on top of his head. :/
Best. Memories. Evar.

halo is not tactical or very team oriented. its not like "Dieter, frag and clear on zulu. Loiselle and Price, yoo fall in on my lead. Go! *boom, door breaks and some gunshots heard.* Tango Down! Gold Element, secure hostage. Blue Element, regroup at objective rally point." its usually more like, "yo i gots rockets, ima go camp in the sword room" which you dont even have to say. my point is that you dont need to communicate in halo

Getting every single skull in the game.

Successfully quad shotting.

Learning many many superbounces. Most of which can get me out of maps.

Getting to a 35 in Team Slayer

Big team seems to be a theme here... I concur, the group element was a big draw of H2, and BTB was the best place for it

Me and my friend Ex0rcist123 doing doubles on Lockout, we were doing good, but constantly jumping off of the edge, so, score wise, we were doing terrible, we saw the 2 enemies, and we starting attacking, Ex0 jumped off of the edge mid fight(big surprise) and of course, threw a random grenade straight up into the air, just my luck, he has good aim with stickies. We lost that game because of those, and many other suicides and betrayals. Was probably the funnest game of my life, never laughed so hard. Good times, good times.

My old Halo 2 account is Devil brothers

My greatest memory would have to be my first time I ever played Halo 2. Getting frustrated at the ghost I was in due to it not flying around headlong. (I thought ghosts and banshees were the same thing =s)
My second greatest memory would be my first xbox live game.. After months of trying to get xbox live working and phoning up the xbox live help centre countless times I finally got it working late into the night. I managed one game (link above) signed in as a guest with my brother before I had to come off for the night. I'll never forget that night.

There is so many more memories I have but don't feel like writing them all out, But my last one I will share with you. I was sitting in the passenger seat of a Warthog when all of a sudden The drive and gunner in the warthog burst out singing "She'll be coming round the mountain" whilst driving over a mound on Coagulation towards the enemy base and our impending doom delivered to us by a tank. I had never laughed so hard in my life.
