Maybe you don't believe anything about video games making you violent, but when a mother buys a game like Max payne for her kids or GTA 3 for her kids, the change is apparent. I'd rather not have 8 year olds talking about banging hookers. Oh wait, thats how old half the Halo player are.
Exactly, when a mother or a parent buys it for thier kids. In every store, except for online, you have to present valid ID, or look old enough to go without ID, to buy M rated games. It is the parents fault for letting their children play the games. Not ours. Im 14 BTW, and i see all these things blaming it on the videogames, I have three words. "Turn it Off" you have a choice whether you play the games, or whether you allow yoru children to play the games parents. But I stand by this to the day I die. and you can quote me You can turn off the TV, you can turn off your videogame system, but you cannot turn off real life.
LOL the worst is when they try to sound like an adult and fall flat on their faces -- Don't get me wrong - There are a few in here that are just fine- and I don't mind them -- But assinine comments like - It only got an M for violence -- Well why do you think that is skippy? Kid's shouldn't be around violence. I'd rather see my kids around -blam!- than violence - Violence is unnatural...
The worst thing is when an adult tries to sound smart, and better than thou, but then says something to totally contradict themselves. When anyone watches -blam!-, it warps their mind, it makes them think about women, as sex objects, objects of pleasure instead of human beings, thats how people start to become rapists. Its starts in the home. And you saying that you would rather let your kids watch -blam!-. You are an unfit parent.
Absolutely beautiful *claps loudly*. Your logic is undeniable (just saw i,robot hehe), and I'm not being sarcastic. All of it's the tru7h, and nothing but the tru7h (no offense to Jim, but Derrick's right).
To add onto that, it's also up to the parents to teach their kids what's right and what's wrong. I know kids who play M games all the time and they're not affected. That's because they have good ethics, and their parents have a part in that.
