As an XBL Arcade game. That would sell SO MUCH it's not even funny.
This isn't nostalgia speaking either. Last night I played Halo 2 online, along with 12,000 other people, and I haven't had so much fun in a multiplayer game in a LONG time.
Halo 2 pretty much made Xbox live popular and paved way to what Xbox Live is today. Microsoft cannot deny that. And after seeing how many people were paying their "respects" to Halo 2 today, and all the salutes to Halo 2 I saw today, Microsoft would be stupid NOT to allow Bungie to re-release the Halo 2 multiplayer portion as an XBL arcade game. And throw in theater mode to seal the deal.
It's very hard to say this won't sell a lot, as it would. No doubts about it. Never before have I seen so many people "mourning" over a game, because no other game was as fun, as balanced or anything that this game was. Every other shooter (or game) I have played since Halo 2 didn't keep me coming back for 5 and a half years, because Halo 2's online portion is amazing.
Obviously many will disagree with me, and that's fine, as this is just my opinion and thoughts. It will probably never happen, but who knows?
