Subject: A fight until the Red Rings

You can never succeed if you never try.

Something tells me that the people on right now are going to be on until their systems overheat and get Red rings. Everyone in still is probably trying to wait it out until they are the last ones playing, but it will eventually come down to who is able to play until their system dies on them.

This could go on for a while. Is anyone who is currently playing planning on staying on until their System Red Rings?

I'm in right now and I plan on leaving it on all night. I'll see the population in the morning and decide whether to pull the plug or not then. But about RRoD, mine's new and under warranty. But let's still hope that that doesn't happen...

In the 7-ish hours I played from the 14th into the 15th I was on the original XBox. Forget emulation, I wanted to go out the way I played for years.

I managed to hit game 6000 at 3:30-ish EST, with a Skirmish win and two flag caps, so I packed the box up this morning when I woke up.

Awesome dedication. It shouldn't be too hard. If they only play games at large intervals and just leave it on the menu the 360 won't get that hot and they can go buy a cooling fan and stuff.

Signatures are for squares.

I plan on playing until the very end.

The only way I'm getting off this Xbox is if my connection craps out and I'm disconnected from the server. =/

Please guys, just let me win the contest. :(
