Ok, Halo 2 is off Live and it is a true shame that all things must come to an end. However I'm viewing this in a very positive light right now. Not that I didn't like Live Halo; I loved it. However, this is a very important milestone for the game. It is officially a classic. People knew that it would have to come to this eventually. However there is life after death still. And now that Halo 2 has transcended the scene of mainstream gaming, I plan to make the best of it. True we no longer have Live play, but that's not entirely a bad thing, which brings me to main topic of my thread:
... Who here plans to throw a LAN Party? If any of you have been with Halo from the beginning then you can act as whitnesses to recount the epic tales of Pizza box towers; the piles of AMP cans; tangled chords and faint aroma of marij-- nevermind. Anyways, now that Live is gone I feel that it is the perfect time to revive the memory of the original multiplayer experience.
