By the minutes, the amount of people playing Halo 2 is dropping. Slowly but surely the number is reaching the Zero point. When this happens, most of will question: "Who is the last soldier?"
The last man may feel lonely. I would. Hell, it's like being the last man on earth. People playing Halo 2 are crazy, but we all like crazy. This is showing Microsoft how much everyone has appreciated Halo 2 until the end. Many have been playing close to about 15 hours even after shut down. Such a sad day for those few, it it not.
For those who are questioning why some are still playing Halo 2, I can explain. Microsoft (for whatever reason) decided not to shut down any open servers, nope. Rather they wanted to see how many would continue to play the original XBOX Game until everyone finally quit. Selfish? On their part for taking away Halo 2, yes. However, letting the people stay playing is very thoughtful. This also may continue until tomorrow!
Their is a bad side to this. When Microsoft pulled the plug, and you were playing, you could still play. This is a fact, and its still going on. However, those who signed out, turned off the Xbox, or whatever, will no longer have the availability to play LIVE any longer. Heres a little something if you didn't understand this.
Those who are in the gates of the XBL live servers, are safe. Only until they decided to sign out, leave, or turn of their Xbox is when they leave the gate. Once you leave, XBL is then disconnected from you.
