Yesterday morning around 6:10am I had to stop playing. Sheer exhaustion and work later combined to bring all the fun to a halt. So I parked myself back in the pregame lobby, turned off the TV and went to bed. Woke up running late for work, so I didn't have a chance to check if I was still connected. Got home around 12:30. Ate some dinner, did some chores and finally sat down to see if I was still connected.
Surprisingly after being on for almost 2 1/2 days my original old school Xbox was still on and at 1:30am on I was still connected. Granted getting games going was a lot harder. No luck at all for BTB. Tried looking for games in everything else, not luck. Finally I just sat in Rumble Pit and waited.
Finally around 2:10am enough people were found that we got a game. And we played over and over.
At 7:57am on April l7th, 2010 with 17 people left online, according to Bungie.net, my time in Halo 2 online came to and end. I've managed to play 23 Rumble Pit games. I logged myself out. Sadly I can no longer stay on. Because part of my job has me reviewing games I need to log out so I can use my account. All good things must come to an end. So to those left good luck and have fun, take it to the end and let us all know what happens.
With 17 of you you really should try to get a BTB going.
