I'm not saying I expect to every play it, and I realize it was "smoke and mirrors"...but still it was that video which sold me on purchasing an Xbox & Xbox Live for the sole purpose of playing Halo 2 (and Halo 1) on it. Ironically, it is the loss of Xbox Live support for Halo 2, which has caused me to decide to let my Xbox Live (Gold) Subscription expire and not spend the money on refurbishing my 360 the next time it gets the Red Ring of Death.
The graphics look more impressive, the weapons are different, even the SMG seems like a better weapon than it was in the final game. The environment looks amazing and the story has an epic scale with Cutscenes of high production value.
I'm not saying I didn't love Halo 2 (quite the opposite actually), it's just seven years later and I still want to play the level in the Halo 2 E3 2003 Campaign Demo.
