Subject: Would it be possible for H2 to return via XBL arcade?

I don't know if this has been brought up before but as I sit here watching the stream of the final H2 games I miss it tremendously and I was wondering if there have been any talks of bringing the game back through the arcade just as Halo CE was. (hopefully with matchmaking support). Any thoughts on this?

Nope. It would have to be entirely recoded. Notice how none of the xbox originals games have xbox live support. It's a whole different system, and might be more work than it would be worth to Bungie. You have to keep in mind that Bungie IS a game studio, and not there to support the community at their monetary loss.

Don't get me wrong, Bungie is the best developer I have come across in regards to community support, but it would not be n the best interests of the company.

I would love it just as much as anyone else - Don't get me wrong!

I wouldn't say no. While it would take some to be rebuilt to be supported on the 360, if MS put a team on it, it could be done in a year.

im pretty sure the only reason people stopped playing halo 2 is cause it wasnt on the 360 and they couldnt talk to their friends etc on it.. if it was on the 360 arcade itd probably have a lot of people playing it
