Halo odst.

ODST.

1, 2 and 3 were kind of the same. Good story, but play the levels and get to the end. ODST kind of mixed things up a tad.

Yeah.. Odst really mixed things up.
Play as guy in streets.
Find random clue which has no real relevance to what's going on.
Find other clue.
Play as other guy several hours earlier in same streets.
Play as numerous other guys in the same areas as you've been walking around but only a few hours earlier.
Protect random alien.

Where is Halo CE;
Escape ship and crash land on a ring.
Find surivours on then alien object.
Infiltrate a alien ship to find the captain.
Locate a map room in a structure hidden in a small island.
Discover the Captain went looking for a weapons Cache and is now MIA.
Find a new and scary enemy; the flood.
Try and escape fighting 2 different factions of enemy.
Locate a 'Key' to try and stop the newly discovered enemy.
Find out the 'Key' would activate the ring and kill all sentiant life.
Sabotage the ring while on the run from 3 different enemies.
Locate the crashed ship from the first level and overload it's engines and try and destroy the ring.

Which sounds more exciting?

I agree completely with jross, although ODST did have a very good campaing and I did like that I didn't have a set route to take, overall the story for ODST was terrible, and I do realise that they didn't spend as long on ODST as the other Halo games, but you actually generally have a better play through.

Plus in the ODST game you were meant to be an actual soldier whereas I felt like I was still a Spartan as the stamina didn't work well and you had a health bar.

On the first playthrough I'd give it to either Halo 3 or ODST, but as far as replayability I'd actually have to give it to Combat Evolved.

I liked ODST's campaign the best, the overall feeling you get when running around the city by yourself is amazing. The gameplay is fun too.

Halo 2's is second because of the awesome 4 level set of Outskirts, Metropolis, Delta Halo, and Regret. It was also fun to get out of the campaign levels.

CE was fun and it's the classic, so you can't really say anything bad about it. It does get a little dull at some parts though, but then Two Betrayals brings it back.
