Valid question, really. I've been playing ODST offline for a couple of days now, and progressing to the third Rookie mission each time before having to save, quit, and go do something else. Why have I played the same part over and over again? Because, for some reason, when I go into Lobby, the option to continue single player campaign is greyed out, and says that there is no game saved.

It gets stranger, as it appears that the mission replay feature allows me to jump into the last mission (Dutch and the Warthog run), and I'm able to change my multiplayer look, so it's registered that I've done the levels.

Anyone got any ideas as to what is going on? Is it because I'm playing on the 360 offline, albeit signed in with my gamertag? It's beginning to get irritating

Hmm, that is strange. I really don't know how to help you out with that one. The only thing I can think of to suggest is to go to dashboard and look in your ODST file on your hard drive. If you see the actual save file there, I would delete it and start over.

Sorry I can't really be of much help :/

Thanks for the advice. I just went into the HDD and found the problem. It's not saving. There is no Halo 3 ODST folder or save file or anything on there. Yes, there's regular Halo 3, but everything in there appears to be just that. Halo 3, not ODST.

I can't figure out why there's a save file for a game I played just a day before on there, and not one for this. Got over 6GB free, so there should really be no problem.

'Tis quite bizzare, this
