I think Bungie or some magazine i read said that you get to go to a moon base. Is that true?

Going to the moon does'nt tie in with the overall Halo story. They only said there would be a zero g level in the new GI, they did'nt say you get to go to the moon.

I think you answered your own question

They also talked about the "moon hog" and how there'll be a Covanent moon base for Halo 2 -- so yes, I think the Master Chief is going to the big cheese in the sky

your a complete dumbass lol! you posted to correct him and everysingle thing you said is inccorect.

First! you dont know the rest of the halo story so you would have no -blam!- clue if it ties in with the halo story or not.

Second! they never said their would be a zero G level! they said their would be levels with lower gravity... you so stupid

And Finally! yes they did say you will be on the moon. so stop being a dumb@$$!

Wait a minute....you said there was a covenant base on the moon right? Surely some human ship would have noticed it...if we can fly to new galaxies we could probably check out the dark side of the moon for big alien activity dont you think?

You know the first multi-player screenshot that bungie released? It had those structures on it that looked like ribs. There has been some speculation that these ribs are the debris from the blown up halo. Well there was only one moon that the debris could have landed on... that one that was orbiting the gas giant, the same gas giant that the blown halo was planted next to. Perhaps this moon is the moon (and not earth's moon) with the low g enviroment we have heard about. Besides, that one guy firing the rocket in mid air is kinda high for a normal jump, don't you think?

VERY observant, Tartarus. I always wondered about the height of the SPNKr's jump, but...

You don't think it's just a statement of the SPARTAN's ability to jump REALLY high? In the beginning of FoR, doesn't it say Kelly jumps like 3 meters straight up?

Well if you were invading a planet wouldn't you need a base camp, a place to stage your assault.. a place to regroup. The covenant could have their assault team planted on the back of the moon, and when they are defeated on earth, maybe the humans send some MC's up to the moon to finish em off...than to the covenant world.

GRUNTS RULE

True Spartan 21, and i kinda retract my theory atleast in the fact that the screen is the moon near where the halo was. i went to the screen to look at it since i hadn't seen it in a while and it really doesn't look all that much like a moon. i also kinda remmeber hearing that this scene was that of a ship graveyard (maybe this screen is mars because its red? Is mars earth's dump in the future?) There were no creaters from asteroids and that blue guy looks like he is kinda doing a normal jump. Still even though this isn't a rendition of the moon in question as i have determined, i do think that the low g moon possiblity will be either the moon near the blomn up halo (we go back to see if something important from the halo is still in tact) or its on earth's moon (where we defend some of earth's orbital defense mac guns placed there. as the covies attack) Or perhaps now that I'm thinking about it the low g place in question is mars and the ship graveyard and the screenshot is infact a low g place. mmm? Who knows.
