I love Halo and video games. I started a business called "70MGame", I setup LAN events, tournaments, and Midnight Launch Events. Check us out in the link below.

I grew up playing Halo CE and have never stopped loving it since. I have one of the biggest Halo collections you will ever see with the crown jewels being life size statues of Master Chief, Kat, and Emile. Im hoping to have the entire Noble Team soon as well as other Halo statues

They can be playing on the Xbox v1 also. The 360 can last a while as long as they are keeping it in a cool room and have it very well ventilated with a fan blowing in/out of it.

But keeping it on for almost a week? No amount of precautions can keep it from RRODing in a few days. I bet that by Wednesday that the majority of them have quit from RRODs or Microsoft shuts the servers down completely.

The xbox isn't a furnace. It gets to its normal operating temperature 5-10 minutes after you start playing a game, and sticks around there until you shut it off. If it can stay on for 5 minutes, it can stay on for 5 days.

The idea that a 360 will slowly build up its internal temperature until it hits melts down is ridiculous.

DOES THIS MEAN HALO 3 IS MADE BY BUNGIE?!?

Actually, I leave both of my Xbox 360s running constantly. It's not the actual heat that gets it, it's the extreme heat followed by cooling when turned off. The motherboard expands and bends because of the x-clamps when hot, an as with anything, if something is constantly bending, the chip becomes detached at some spots. Them leaving their Xbox 360s on won't do a thing to it besides occasionally make it sound like a 747.
