ok people you may have heard me asking for help in endure ok first try 9 yeasr kids left 2nd try co op killed all of the xboxs 3rd try guy left because unknown 4th try tried cheating with a guess we died 5th try i lagg out 6th try my father pulls out my internet cord to vaccum
BUNGIE I AM ASKING YOU TO MAKE IT IF 1 PERSON laggs out the others can keep playing to get the achievement even if there is only 3 people

Dude. It's hard I get it but you need better people and a better internet connection to unlock it. Also you need to put your enthernet cable elsewhere so it won't get disconnected.

Well I didn't create the game. Unfortunely the achievement descrpition says that 4 players need to play firefight on heroic and get to set 5. Best map is ONI Alpha Site in my opinion. So if you continued to play Firefight with 3 people when the forth person lagged out, you still won't get the achievement.

we have a plan and all on alpha site and we have 20+ lives but then lagg comes from nowhere and kick someone im asking if that is the case for a game the game does not end and the other 3 are still in the running for recon ever if they only had 3 people

You're not understanding the criteria of the achievement. You have to pass the fourth set on 4-player heroic difficulty over XBL. If one person were to be dropped midway through the run and the mission continued, you would not have passed the fourth set with four players. Thus, achievement still locked.

The campaign engine is very different from the engine used for matchmaking. There is no host migration as there is with matchmaking. To change this, Bungie would have to drastically re-design the engine, and that's time and resources better spent making sure Reach doesn't have the same problems.

In the meantime, make sure you play with people who have solid Internet connections. And maybe you should do your parents a favour and do the vacuuming before you play video games.

Won't happen, Halo ODST is DEAD. Doesn't mean it is bad, just means Bungie are doing NOTHING with it anymore.

Bungie have not advanced their co-op engine, to actually allow drop-in drop-out co-op,
this is why the game must start with X amount of players, and end with amount of X players.

Bungie must have had trouble making the game update it's player count, and allowing the game to adjust the gamemode or scripts automatically, to how many players are in the game.

hopefully they fixed it for Halo Reach.

It doesn't use the P2P model multiplayer uses.
That's why you can vs eachother in customs with no lag, and go into campaign and lag like a dog.
Only reason it doesn't use P2P is because they would've had to rewrite a lot of code to include the A.I which means heaps of time and less time they could been spending on Reach.

oh come one serious bungie cant be bothered to write more code wow disapointing what happened to you bungie you made halo1 and 2 with perfection also first you should fix the problem before people had issues and complained now reach is going to screwed up because all you care about is money not the people any more like this trick "beta can only be accessed through odst" <----wow that is the cheapest money making scam ever

the most funny thing is that halo odst was made to be an add on. not a game thats why the map disk has mutliplayer. firefight matchmaking would be cool bungie could properly make it a download.
