How come I have no blood for Halo on my PC yet it is rated M for blood and the screens shown in the instruction booklet and on this website have blood!!!

u need to have decals and specular on, go to settings, video to change it. if its grayed out then you need a new video card

that is wierd. i believe my video card and my system in general are very good, i never experience any lag at all, but the DECALS are grayed out so i guess i do need a new one

I know you've already solved your problem, but just for clarification, specular shading has nothing to do with blood being shown on your screen or not, as was suggested by someone above. It's the decals you want in order to see things like blood or bullet holes.
