Yup.

4/14-4/20

Well, last during the night while I was sleeping, Microsoft struck my Xbox forcing me to quit. I don't if it was because whether I don't know if it was because play enough yesterday or if it was just my time to go. I make to the exact LAST 50, and cannot be more happy or proud of all the people I spent hours on end with on Halo 2. For those people, you are all Soldiers and don't let it down that one of them close has fallen, fight to the end.

PS: Don't let negative post's get you down either on this ignorant forum! =D

Jorge is hungarian or something like that (more than likely a new race, that a lot of cultures were combined into)

congrats for making it that far, they got me in my sleep also.. I hope the rest of the chosen ones have a lot of coffee on the standby.

Lewis Belding: I got 18 people in my hotel! Where are they gonna go?
The Stranger: Out.

Yeah, congrats for holding on...I can see from your profile you were one of the fighters, and not just sitting idly by waiting for glory! :-)

Not waiting for glory? Close to 75% of the games on this profile took place over the last 5 days. I'd say it's actually a case of just wanting to be last, not actually having a passion for the game. Some of the others still playing have been there since day 1. Certainly a display of perseverance to continue running your system for 5 days straight, but I think the motives are a little more dubious than they appear.

RIP Halo 2

...Or you know, the guy hasnt kept the same account for almost 6 years. For me I only have 117 games on this tag, all played on the 14th+15th (damnit why did i turn my box off WHY?!) but yet I also have about 9000 other games spread over 2 or 3 gamertags from january 2005 onwards. Just because your gamertag doesnt have a ton of games doesnt mean you arent a real halo player, nor does it mean you only played to get some recognition. Saying so is just elitist and ignorant.

That's a fair point, but calling me elitist or ignorant is unfounded. I simply formed an opinion based on the empirical evidence on the profile in question.

It appears im one of 2 people online right now, even though it shows 50, but 97% are idle sleeping and dreaming about Halo 2.

No, I've respected Halo 2 for years, and since the fact that my family could not afford an Xbox for me since we're not the richest family, it took me awhile to get one. I honestly would have to go to my friends houses and play nearly every weekend, hours on end. So for me to take the chance to play for 5 days now that I actually have an Xbox, why in the world would I miss the opportunity to play it before it shuts down? I love the game, and since it was shutting down forever I took a chance to leave my Xbox on. Thanks for making a blunted judgement based on such a concise standpoint, really made my day.

Honestly, I oppose flame wars, but just consider in your mind first off the possibilities as to why someone does or does not do something. Otherwise you end up looking like an idiot if you blurt something out when not knowing enough information to even go out on. That's all.

Nobody cares about anyone else's opinion - be it mine, yours, or a cult of angry star wars nerds - when they are enjoying what they enjoy.

Everyone cares about opinions, that's why we socialize on a forum with strangers.

Microsoft is definitely kicking people, then? I thought that was just a rumor...

Never started a flame war, just made a statement. The only one escalating it is you. Also, if you'd read carefully, my post was never directed at you, but at the others exulting you for your "dedication" to Halo 2.

But regardless of that point, if you'd look above your own post at my reply to MO5TLY BALiSTO, you'll see I conceded there may be extenuating circumstances that were not exactly prevalent at the time. I had plenty of information to, as you say, go out on my original statement. It only took a few clicks to find the game history. I can't stress to you enough how little this concerns me, but thank YOU for making such a mountain out of a molehill.

Charge The Gates...

My electricity disconnects about 1-3 times per year, and of course it happens during the early hours of April 16th. This is very lame.

Halo 2 Forever.
