B33S - you liked that game (Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge), dude that game was terrible lol. I played it a few times but it was kind of boring/cartooney. But it attests to the online game quality on XBL before halo2, it was like night and day. I personally think XBL fails or has the hardest time in history in being established, without halo2, kind of like how playstation 2 online experience was like (basic, without texture, and bland). Halo2 brought me away from computer games and changed my gaming experience to the console experience. Without it i would still be playing on my computer, probably WoW or WC3, or command and conquer (and XBL wouldn't have ever come into my mind at all). Also, i played basically no other online game other than halo2 the last 5 years (a bit of halo wars that is pretty much it, and a bit of H3).
That is why Halo2 is XBL and now that it's gone from XBL I am probably going to survey my gaming options and see which online experience will fit the bill of the funnest experience (not the most competitive) and right now i dont see that in XBL right now and I dont see it happening for XBL in the near and mid term future. I'm not saying that they should change it, i'm just saying for me it's not the experience i'm looking for in a gaming community (I want to have fun, quickly efficiently, and on a consistent bases)since halo2 is no longer apart of it.
H2 brought me in, kept me having fun for 5 years and no other game on XBL can do that... Games like that are hard to come by that give you a fun experience easily especially for an online experience. And so i will be in search of that game and a provider that can do it in a better way (that dont ditch their best game on their service) and i dont know if XBL can show me what i'm looking for and then provide it, they have alot of show but little online quality to me. So, i will be looking for a better online community and provider of online service and i might stay with XBL but I dont know if i can get over the fact they pulled the plug on the best game in the history of XBL the originator, the only, Bungies Halo 2.
