Games, Games, Games... It's What I Do!!!

I have a question about what your thoughts are that dragging out the life of Halo 2 could be delaying the Xbox updates that Microsoft had planned. The whole reason that Microsoft was discontinuing the original Xbox games was so that they could enhance the Xbox live backend to support new features, remove the 100 friend cap, etc. Since we don't know enough about the architecture of Xbox Live, I would assume that Microsoft can't start the upgrades until you guys finish your Halo 2 games. With proper ventilation, ISP reliability, etc, your games could go on indefinitely. I understand that you guys still have fun playing Halo 2 and respect your right to play it, but at what point will you guys quit so that MS can provide the enhancements for the remaining 20 million Xbox Live subscribers? I hope you don't take this comment too critically. I'm not a hardcore gamer, but I do enjoy a nice RPG or getting on Xbox Live for some matchmaking on the weekends. And while I respect your love of the game, there are other ways for you to continue to play online from what I have seen. On the other hand, these Xbox Live enhancements could be delayed because you are holding on to your current Halo 2 session.
If this were preventing an update, microsoft would find a way to kick them off.
All they would have to do is take XBL down for maintenance, you've seen it before... just drop XBL for 60 mins... problem solved for microsoft, bummer for the 4 of us.. POINTE FINALE (That's French!) Sooo quit you're b!tching, if they wanted us off they would get us off!
