You guys are blowing this whole thing out of proportion. You are treated (and acting like) some sort of heroes that are "fighting to the bitter end" when in reality you are just a sad bunch of people that havent turned their consoles off for a week and a half. Its sad.
This guy is totally right it is very sad. Sorry, but this isn't something to be proud of.
What's really sad is the fact that these days, people can't do what they think is fun or cool or something they enjoy. No matter how dorky or nerdy it is to you, it means something to them.
These are not the only people who can't do what they think is fun or cool or something they enjoy. I never said this was dorky or nerdy. What's so fun or cool about leaving your xbox 360 on for almost a month, never turning it off, just to play Halo 2. Just think when others hear that, why act like these people are heroes or are making their last stand? No, it's not. It's just a bunch of people who couldn't live without another day of xbox live for Halo 2. They couldn't wouldn't turn off their xboxs until the Red Rings of Death or lost connection somehow. Playing on the last day was enough. It was one last hurrah, saying goodbye to Halo 2. That was awesome. That's what the Final Day of Halo 2 was for. Besides you can still play it with friends. It's not like Halo 2 will be gone forever.
If it really meant something to these people to not turn off their xboxs for almost a month, label themselves as "The Final Few", and get called heroes then I feel sorry for them. They did not display "dedication" or "loyalty" to Halo 2. These people only showed they had way too much time on their hands.
I don't know why you want to bash us. Maybe you're jealous, maybe you're a jerk, I really don't care. But if you don't have anything nice to say, just don't post in this thread please. We don't think we're high-and-mighty because we stayed online for so long, we just wanted to help the world remember Halo 2, and send it out with a bang.
