Oho no. My comments generally apply to Halo 2 regardless of platform. Halo 2's multiplayer, be it on Xbox or PC, is a noobified mess of a game that never should have seen the light of day. It spawned an entire generation of wanna-bes who think they're God's gift to gaming when they could never ever take on any gamer worth his/her salt in a real man's game, and bred an era of console games that favored accessibility by pre-adolescents over worthwhile gameplay, which eventually bled over to the PC in the form of H2V, and later, MW2.
Here's a great example. Idiots are claiming that aim assist has to exist on console FPS games, because aiming is just "too hard." That is absolutely laughable. You take any legit gamer, put him on Halo 3, and tell him to team kill using nothing but the BR, and he'll -blam!- his teammates with precision accuracy, making it look like a walk in the park. It's not hard; That's just a delusion brought about by the mass noobification brought about in the console FPS genre, which primarily started with Halo 2.
This is not sarcastic. I appreciate your commentary. Do you have anything other to say about Halo 2 that is actually good? What about the original Halo PC? Do you have anything good to say about either games? Like I said, I really do appreciate even negative feedback.
