The time. It's all set on Pacific Time. It always screw me up, since I don't live in that timezone. They should make it so that all times show up according to your timezone. Assuming that's possible.

Service Record

The site is set to Bungie Time. A some point in the future, this will be the only time that will exist. So get used to it. ;)

It is when the output isn't dynamic.

If the output isn't dynamic how do moderators have moderator tools and others don't?

P.S. I know nothing about HTML or PHP or whatever.

Yes. Another idea which you've made a copy of. I'm not saying thats bad or anything, I'm just telling you we've pretty much thought of everything. It just takes time for all this kool crapness to get implemented into the website.

Thanks. I've never used that site before. I always use dicitionary.com

Member A views a board/post. The data is retrieved from the database, and the output is displayed. The output is also added to a cache.

Members B to ZZZZA see the contents of this cache.

Member ZZZZB views a board/post a certain amount of time later, and updates the contents of this cache.

Continue ad infinitum.

The unwanted side-effects of this can be seen when a non-member updates the cache and that annoying "you must join to interact" message appears for a while.

Of course, only Achronos actually knows what happens. This is what I have gathered from experience. He can now come here and rip this post apart.

To Make Posts is Glorious

Some threads will get posts before others and it is the duty of the Leadership to ensure that posts are made that best suit the public welfare.

We could also improve by having more ninjas... or are they just lazy and expect us to report spam?

The mods do an excellent job, and good members do report spam/bad things.

I agree. I once reported some MAJOR flaming, and the thread got locked. I reported the major spamming in new mombasa today, and it was taken care of promptly. Then ninjas are fine as they are.
