Rev.6-8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

I'm optimistic as to the future of Bungie. I hope things go well. But to be honest, the campaigns (IE the most important part) of Bungie's latest games have been in poor performance. I hope that the Activision merger will, somehow, change that. Unfortunately I think it won't.
My core philosophy of "the canon is everything" conflicts with Bungie's philosophy of "the canon is subject to gameplay changes". We're incompatible, and if the campaigns keep degrading like this I can't even make exceptions on that front. I don't know how much longer I can remain a fan if things keep going as they do, but I hope Reach will fully restore my faith and confidence. If not, there's one more game before I'm going to have to realize I can't reconcile our differences and make the move on out.
If you guys are reading this, please don't make me make that move. Focus on the campaigns for those of us hardcore, dedicated fans that care about them beyond anything else. Let this merger with Activision help you to help your own storylines.
you took the words right out of my mouth...
