Yes, Halo 2 is unfortunately gone from the Xbox forever as we know it, however, it still lives on, well, on the PC, that is. It seems that most people now-a-days have Windows Vista or better, and if you're ever feeling down about not being able to play Halo 2 again, then simply drop by gamestop or best buy or w/e, pick up a copy of Halo 2 Vista! I havent played it myself, but im sure its pretty close to the classic Halo 2.

The party isnt over people! Its just moved to next door. :)

The online is ok, not a lot of people on it and there is usually only maps like coagulation/blood gulch. I really like playing the campaign over again though because my old halo 2 disc is broke.
